Elizabeth Arden | Heritage Beauty

Client: Elizabeth Arden Global

Agency: Born Social

Role: Creative Director, Creative Strategist,

Year: 2025
To mark Elizabeth Arden’s 115th anniversary, we were tasked with creating a social-first campaign that celebrated the brand’s heritage, honoured its spirit of innovation, and reflected its enduring legacy in beauty.

The goal was to strike a balance between looking back and looking forward, to celebrate where we’ve been while still speaking to the modern, digitally native audience of today.

Our creative concept was Ageless Beauty. Inspired by the idea that beauty knows no age, the concept brought together timeless symbols of celebration cake, balloons, party invites, with Elizabeth Arden’s iconic brand story. This wasn’t just about a birthday. It was about legacy, reinvention, and owning the desire for change, something Elizabeth Arden herself championed over a century ago.

"Because there is beauty in wanting change, and speaking it into existence."

The campaign became a playful yet powerful nod to 115 years of bold thinking, beautiful design, and cultural relevance, retold through a modern, social-first lens.

We developed a global suite of Instagram-first assets designed to tell a cohesive and compelling story across feed, stories, and reels.

The Rituals We Share was inspired by the idea that heritage is earned in small, everyday rituals, we set this visual in the kind of space we know well, the bathroom mirror, the early morning light, the soft gestures of care. This film honours our product as an icon not through grand statements, but through presence. A quiet constant in our daily lives.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful legacies are the ones that live in the details.

Heritage StoryTo highlight the heritage of our products and how they’ve evolved over time, we captured each item top-down against a clean white background. In post-production, the scene transitions from our birthday-inspired set design to archival imagery of the brand, creating a seamless visual journey from past to present. This simple yet effective setup allows the product to remain the hero while the changing background tells a layered story of innovation and legacy. Soft flash lighting keeps the look crisp and modern, with a natural finish that feels both elevated and approachable.

Product BirthdaysFor Elizabeth Arden’s 115th anniversary, we brought four of the brand’s most iconic products into the spotlight with a twist.

Each short film was designed like a scrapbook come to life. From handwritten notes to paper textures and playful animations, the creative leaned into nostalgia while feeling fresh and platform-native. Each product’s story was told through archive-inspired visuals and fun facts like how Eight Hour Cream got its name from a client using it on her child’s grazed knee.

A Legacy in Motion

We took a deep dive into Elizabeth Arden’s rich history, using archival footage to create a beautiful montage that traces the brand’s journey through time. Moving chronologically from past to present, the film shows how the brand has evolved visually and creatively, while staying true to its core values of beauty and innovation.

To celebrate the brand’s heritage, we brought together our favourite products in a scene full of nostalgia and charm.

Shot top-down on location, the layout featured birthday invitations, birthday cake, and brand memorabilia, with old photos reimagined as photobooth strips to create a tactile, storytelling-rich environment. Each detail was chosen to nod to the brand’s past while keeping the visuals light, playful, and platform-friendly. The result is a top-down moment that feels like a memory you can step into — warm, celebratory, and unmistakably on-brand.
